MISSION STATEMENT:
Philippians 3:10, states, "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his suffering, being made comformable unto his death."
Our very existence is for the purpose of knowing the One who not only can redeem us from our present condition, but also can bring us into fellowship whereby we will be spiritually strengthened in order to fulfill His purpose of propagating His 'Good News' to the world.
We Believe:
1. In the verbal inspiration of the Bible - the text as given in the original language is the inspired Word of God and is inerrant. The New Testament is to be used for discipline and government.
2. In one God eternally existing in three persons, namely the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
3. That man was created in the image of God. He fell through disobedience to God. Because of the sinful fall of mankind, there is a need for a Savior. Jesus, the Son of God is this Savior. Through Him and only Him can the sins of man be atoned. After man is saved, he is to lead a separated life and should seek to be equipped for service to the Master by the in-filling of the Holy Spirit.
4. In the pre-millenial second coming of Jesus Christ. First to resurrect the dead saints and then to catch away those who are alive. In eternal punishment for the wicked and an eternal reward in heaven for the righteous.
5. In the power of prayer. That God hears us when we pray and will grant our request according to His will.
6. That the mission of the church is to worship, fellowship, and witness to the world of the grace of our Lord Jesus.
