The Reverend Robin Brown has retired February 2000. I cannot comprehend why we have to have a long interegnum St.Mary.s church stands in the center of a mixed council and private estate, 30% being council The church stands in beautiful grounds with its own detatched four bedroom vicarage with surrounding wood and school nearby. There is a good rapport between the head and teachers of the school and the vicar.They attend all special services in school time. We have a regular congregation of around 45 communicants. we are a happy bunch and work together for our purpose.
