Peter is told by Jesus that he cannot go with him now. So many times we catch the fire of the spirit and want to go with Christ right now, but sometimes we are called to wait upon the Lord. Wait has 2 meanings, one is to hold still until we are told to do something and the other is to actively serve. While Christ wants us with him we must also remember our duty to minister, and that may mean waiting until the time is right and preparing for the call of Christ. Christ has a purpose for each of us, and we must wait for him to tell us what that is. Waiting is not a sin,it is a blessing.
