THE PURPOSE OF THE WORD CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST
TO CAUSE PEOPLE TO ENTER INTO THE FAMILY OF GOD BY INTRODUCING TO THEM "THE WORD", RESTORE FAMILY LIFE, EQUIP AND MATURE THE TOTAL PERSON THROUGH EDUCATION AND SERVICES, WHILE SURROUNDING THEM WITH SPIRITED WORSHIP AND EFFECTIVE PREACHING IN A FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE, FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!
WHAT WE BELIEVE ABOUT THE WORD!
We believe that the Holy Bible is The one and only Word of the one and only true and living God written by men divinely inspired, and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction; that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error for its matter; that it reveals the principles by which the Church is to be established, governed, and administrated, and by which God Almighty will judge us, and there is and shall remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions shall be tried. (2Tim.3:15-17; 1Thess.2:13; 2Peter 1:21)
