Survival through salvation becomes imminently the most important emphasis of our ministry. Because Pentecostal Temple is vision driven, people are our ultimate interest; for without a vision, the people perish. We must amass our fullest potential in the ministry of guidance and restoration to prevent this generation from spiritual ruin. Crime,violence,drug abuse and most importantly the absence of a solid Christian based foundation,far too often represent many of our youth today. The destructive tidal wave of deceit the enemy places before our youth must be broken with the might and fervor promised us through the word of God. Godly youth must seek the return of their communities by being effective examples of good works. Our charge as a church body is to move our youth from deviation and destruction to dialog and dedication, from poverty and pridelessness to productivity and praise, from temptation to salvation, from hopelessness to righteousness, for we must embrace the power and principal of salvation. Increasingly the church is being recognized for empowering people to recapture good morals and sanctification during this millennium. Pentecostal Temple Church is chosen of God as a friendly church with dynamic leadership and love for the people of God. The pastor,elders and ministeries face unprecedented challenges as we endeavor to carry out an effective ministry for the 21st century. As our membership grows, so does the demand for meeting a greater need in the area of comfort, scripture knowledge, teaching, and more importantly salvation (coming to our house). If we move and accept the challenge of strengthening our brothers and by all means put forth the effort of working together in harmony, by faith we can concur the greater challenge. The challenge is great. To meet these demands, contemporary church leadership must be highly motivated to achieve excellence, excited about what they do--passionate about mastery of our voaction, and sufficiently engergetic to be effective in the ministry at Pentecostal Temple. Passive acceptance of responsibility will not lead to success. Rather,leaders must be of integrity. As your pastor, I not only have given my time, effort,and mind, but my heart is committed to the work and growth at Pentecostal Temple. You as fellow ministers of the Gospel must commit the element of human character from whence fervor, inspiration, and dedication flow. I am personally requesting of each clergyman to answer to the higher calling of God. The task that God has given is not overwhelming that we cannot work while it is day. As we work through this agenda, every voice will be heard and equal consideration will be given of all input. Thanks again for your support in the ministry.
Our Philosophy And Mission Statement
The mission of Pentecostal Temple Child Development Center is to ensure that each child will learn and demonstrate the knowledge, attitude, and skills necessary to succeed at a higher level of understanding. Every child will have the opportunity to grow and develop their fullest potentials as they explore learning choices that will help their development socially, emotionally,intellectually, and physically. The philosophy of meeting the child at their own level and challenging them to advance to a higher level of understanding and achievement will remain our priority as we work together to establish clear, high academic expectations for all children. We are committed to maintaining a clean, safe and neat environment which promotes security for all children as well as provides a learning environment for the child to demonstrate the knowledge, attitude, and skills necessary to succeed in the approptriate programs offered for the advancemant of the child. Our programs are designed to develop a sense of independence and responsibility in every child. Technology will be a major focus in the learning environment. Additionally, the staff is committed to high achievement and come from a professional background to offer the best instruction and guidance for the children. We support our teachers with training, resources, and freedom to create unique learning experiences for children. Our teaches are caring and provide a nurturing atmosphere and foster each child's creativity and positive self image. We believe children are natural explorers and need hands on experiences to help stimulate their own imaginations. Classrooms are designed to promote academic excellence and safety. We are committed to creating mutual respect between parents and teachers and will therefore embrace a partenership for the benefit of the child. We encourage communication between parents and staff and will treat every child with the highest regard for the development of the whole child in a safe, academically advanced, and nurturing environment. The continous update of the curriculum is part of Pentecostal Temple's Child Development Center efforts to provide appropriate and challenging educational programs for all children in our center.
