Who we are

Clifton Park Assembly of God is a group of believers who are seeking to know more about the Lord Jesus and be obedient to Him in their lives.
Worship style is joyful without being excessive. Preaching style is scripture focused. We seek to understand what the Word means as it was written and what the valid applications are for our daily lives.
Our desire is to let our community hear the name of Jesus in such a way that they will come and follow Him. Tools we use to reach the commmunity are via mail (newsletters) and a public access TV program ("Our Time"). Our greatest tools for outreach are our people and their Spirit empowered witness.
We have a strong focus on Christian Education including "Super Church" for our young people during the Sunday morning schedule; Royal Rangers (boys ministries) and Missionettes (girls ministries) on Sunday night.
Clifton Park A/G is a home missions church. We are still meeting in rented quarters but anticipate entering into a building project within the next 9-12 months on land which the Lord provided.
Clifton Park is a suburban community located 20 minutes north of the New York Capital District (Albany/Schenectady/Troy).
The people of Clifton Park A/G are the best. They're a dedicated, hard working, genuinely nice group of folks who love Jesus and are an inspiration to their Pastor.
