Mission Statement

The Mission of Crescent Avenue Presbyterian Church is to be a loving community of faith, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and serving the people of God in this congregation, in this city, and in the whole world.

In fulfillment of this mission we will:

• share our faith with friends and strangers.
• keep our doors open to people in need - physically, emotionally, and spiritually and cooperate/support community agencies/churches seeking to meet these needs.
• expand programs which nurture our growth in the Christian faith.

To accomplish this, we will:

• survey community needs through community dialogue groups.
• advertise in newspapers, produce new materials, expand internal communication.
• promote the study of the Bible and the Christian Life.
• organize a talent bank
• celebrate special Sundays in the life of the Church
