The mission of Saint Patrick Abbey, Oakland, California is to reach out to the unchurched and abused former Catholics of Alameda County. We welcome all people, regardless of race, creed, color, or sexual orientation. God is the Creator and Author of all souls, and those souls should be given the opportunity to know, love, and serve Him. The Abbot of Saint Patrick Abbey is deeply concerned with urban ministries and concerns, and is dedicated to help the men and women suffering from drug and alcohol addiction, and from the HIV/Aids virus. We are Anglo-Catholic and use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. Saint Patrick Abbey is associated with The American Congregation of Saint Benedict (CA) and the Apostolic Episcopal Church, Province of the West.
WE ARE NOT NEW-AGE NEW THOUGHT, THEOSOPHISTS, ROSICRUCIANS OR GNOSTIC.
