Description of Ministry & Affiliation
Saints David & Kenneth of Wales Orthodox Catholic Mission is a ministry attached to the Celtic Rite of the Western Rites Vicariate of the Orthodox Catholic Church of the Americas. Saints David & Kenneth of Wales is rather moderate, believing in the Apostolic Catholic faith, as handed down from Jesus, through the Apostles, but believes that God is the Father of all mankind (regardless of church affliation, or previous bachground). We hope to bring the joy of Christ and His love to all- Our church motto is: Rejoice and be glad-for this is the day the Lord had made.
Location & Service Times
Masses and services are held at Heritage Manor Nursing and Convolescent Center, Sunday Mass at 10:00 AM; Inter-denomination Prayer service, with communion, each 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month-at 3:00PM; Men's Focus Group and Bible study 2nd & 4th Tuesday at 1:45PM; Monthly Memeorial Mass for deceased residents of the Nursing Home-last week of each month; Confession-before Mass (or by appointment) at the rectory or the penetant's choice of setting. Other services provided: weddings (some in various churches-or home settings; Funerals(or celebration of life services, as I like to name this function) at funeral homes; graveside services,when requested by families of the deceased.
