Daily Scripture March 16, 2010 John 17:3 "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." Heavenly Father, Thank You for eternal life through Your Son, Jesus Christ! Let Your light so shine through me, that others may know You are the only true and living God. In Jesus Name. Amen. Spirit of Truth Family Worship is a church for the family. We welcome people from all walks of life and every nationality. We believe that all God's children should come together, and worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Jesus said in Mark 16:15 "...Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. Also in Matthew 10:7-8 "And as you go, preach saying, the Kingdom of God is at hand. v.8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils; freely ye have received, freely give." We at Spirit of Truth Family Worship believe in doing just as Jesus said. We have seen and witnessed all of the above with the exception of the cleansing of the lepers, but we know if the need arises we will see that also. The greatest miracle is when a person receives Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. 2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man [be in] Christ [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Our main focus is to win the lost to Jesus Christ. Every person is important to the Kingdom of God.

A LETTER FROM THE PASTOR

Dear Partners and friends,
Speaking the Word of Truth brings forth results...
Remember the centurion in Matthew 8:6, who came
to Jesus saying "Lord, my servant lieth at home
sick of the palsy, grievously tormented." And in
verse 7, Jesus saith unto him "I will come and
heal him." The centurion said, "I am not worthy
that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak
the word only, and my servant shall be healed."
Now this excited Jesus or you could say it blessed
Him. Jesus made a statement in v.10 about great
faith. The great faith worked with what the
centurion said about the Word. Just speak the
Word only and my servant shall be healed. Speaking
the Word of Truth brings forth results.
Just a few weeks ago my sister Ann French was
diagnosed with cancer. The doctor said it was
in the 3rd stage going into the 4th stage in
her lymph nodes. Well, everyone began to pray
and seek the Lord. He said to seek and ye shall
find...and as we prayed and confessed the Word,
others also were praying and confessing the Word,
and she also was praying and confessing the Word.
"For greater is He that is in you than he (the
devil or cancer) that is in the world.
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the
life." He also said in John 10:10..."The thief
cometh not but for to steal, and to kill and to
destroy...but, I am come that they might have life
and that they might have it more abundantly."
Jesus doesn't want you to have cancer or any other
disease!
The doctor told my sister that he was very sorry
concerning this report, but after everybody had
been praying and seeking the Lord, when she went
back for her next check up the doctor said,"we
are all amazed...the cancer is gone." It was all
because of Jesus...the Word. (There was a lot more
to this story, but for lack of space we just shared
the basics.) Praise God cancer is gone in Jesus Name.
Another praise report was a sister in the church
(Tina Shepherd), the doctors said she had cancer
in her liver. One Sunday Sister Vicky spoke the Word
to Sister Tina during song service and said, "receive
your healing" ...Sister Tina said she felt a burning
in her stomach and when she went back to the doctor
the cancer was ...you guess it ...it was gone. Isn't
that just like Jesus? You know Jesus isn't just
healing people' bodies, but He is making a way for
them right in the time of famine, right in the midst
of economic failure He is making a way. No matter
how bad things may look, speak the Word of God
over every situation spiritually, physically, or
financially: for the Word of God is Truth and it
will bring results for you in Jesus Mighty Name.
Because, "Jesus Christ (is) the Same Yesterday,
Today, and Forever" Hebrews 13:8.

Prayer of Salvation
If you do not know Jesus as Lord and
Savior of your life, you can pray the
following prayer and receive Him right
now.
Heavenly Father,
I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your
Word says, "Whosoever shall call on the
name of the Lord shall be saved" and
"If thou shalt confess with thy mouth
the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thou shalt be saved'
(Acts 2:21; Romans 10:9).
I confess that Jesus is the Son of God
and I beleive in my heart that God has
raised Him from the dead. I ask Jesus
to come into my heart now and make me
a new creature in Christ as it says in
2 Corinthians 5:17.
Thank You Lord for coming into my heart,
and being Lord of my life. Amen.
