We know that in general all churches are to "go... make disciples, " Matthew 28:9-20, but we felt it to be necessary to state more specifically what we aim to accomplish as a CHURCH. The mission statement reads as follows: "Greater Walters A.M.E Zion Church nurtures towards wholeness so that, through Jesus Christ, they may repair the brokeness in their relationship with God and other aspects of their lives. Empowered by the holy spirit, we minister to people's needs through the worship of God, study of God's word, fellowship reaching out to those within and outside the church and the strengthening of family units."
