Visiting Inverness the Scottish Highland Capital?
We warmly welcome you to our services.
As a local congregation of the Free Church Of Scotland we:- Meet for worship on the Lords day, morning and evening. Submit to the teaching of the whole Bible. Meet regularly for prayer and Bible Study and provide Sunday School and other youth activities for our children.
Why not join us for coffee and fellowship after Sunday morning worship.
The Free North Church was opened for worship in June 1893, the Victorian style building can seat 1300 and dominates the river front with it's 170'ft high spire. The most recent redecoration in 1994 reinstated the original colour scheme and the ceiling stencilled patterns were painstakingly reproduced by hand.
May we share with you some good news:- God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3.16 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4.12 " We preach Christ Jesus the Lord".
The Free Church Of Scotland is Presbyterian in church government and its doctrines are summerised in the Westminster Confession of Faith.
