Founder, Bishop W. H. Reed
Gospel Prayer Ctr. for Missions was founded as a means to support the work which was started in Honolulu, Hawaii. The call on Bishop Reed's life was at the tender age of three years old. (I must work the works of him that sent me...John 9:4) He was the pioneer for Holiness in the islands. His work spread throughout the world. Bishop Reed went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 1997. Mother Lucy Reed who stood by his side for over fifty-one years resides in Perris, California. Elder Stanley and Esther Lawton, his son-in-law and daughter are carrying on the work at Gospel Prayer Ctr. for Missions along with the faithful members in the city of Los Angeles.
