The LIVING ROSARY / St. Philip Holy Name Society
The Living Rosary will be held on Monday, May 10 beginning at 7:10 p.m. SHARP. We need 70 ladies (or girls). All are welcome or encouraged to participate. This is to honor Mary, the Mother of God, and at this time of stress in the world, indeed, crisis, her intercession for peace will not go unheard. All will assemble in the hallway of the school for placement. It is simple. We all recite the rosary just before the novena services begin. Please call Rose Ossi at 791-4640 if you are planning to participate. Time for assembly is 6:45 p.m. The St. Philip Holy Name Society is holding its 7th Annual Golf Outing at the Emerson Golf and Country Club on Thursday, June 3. All men and women in the parish are cordialy invited. 18 holes of golf, golf cart, locker facilities, breakfast and luncheon are included. Prizes will include a 1999 automobile for a hole-in-one. Many other prizes will be offered, including a large raffle table with many other prizes. Healing Mass / 1999 CROP WALK
There will be a Healing Mass at St. Philip's Church on Wednesday, May 12 at 8:00 p.m. For more information, please call Rev. Fr. Venard Poslusney, O.Carm. at (201) 791-4278. The 1999 Saddle Brook/Rochelle Park CROP Walk is scheduled for Sunday, May 16. The Walk will start at 2:00 p.m. from the parking lot of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rochelle Park and travel through Otto Pehle County Park which straddles the Saddle River. Walkers are asked to register in the church parking lot at 1:45 p.m. This is our sixth annual walk. Every dollar raised will be matched dollar-for-dollar.
