This is the oldest African Baptist Church in North America. Founded in 1777 by the
Rev. Andrew Bryan. This church is located on the property that was purchased and
continuously owned by African American. First Bryan is presently pastored by
Pastor Edward L. Ellis, Jr who has been the leader of this flock for the last
14 years.
