WHY WE ARE HERE!
Calvary Assembly of God is a church striving to help people develop their lives to the fullest by leading them to Jesus Christ. In John's gospel Jesus said, "I have come that you might have life and that more abundantly." That's why we are here: (1) helping people develop their lives to the fullest, (2) helping people develop and grow in a victorious lifestyle, and (3) helping then reach their God-given potential!
WHAT WE ARE DOING!
Calvary Assembly of God has been from its inception a "church for the unchurched." We are also a church that exists in its time and place to be a church that is relevant to this culture. What is needed in American Christianity is a missionary congregation which in intentionalyy, purely evangelistic; a church that has abandoned the Christendom model of ministry as merely nurturing the faithful - whose primary mission is to reach and disciple people who do not believe. Our goal is to be that church. Our goal is to make fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ!
