Located in Augusta, GA., Church of the Master is a cell-church congregation for advancing the kingdom of God. Most all of our ministries take place in small, informal, home settings. Just as our human bodies are composed of numerous cells working together, so it is with the body of Christ. Our congregation is composed of several small "cell" groups who meet weekly for Bible Study, fellowship, worship, prayer, encouragement, outreach and evangelism. All the cells have opportunity to gather corporately on Sundays for our Sunday Celebration. We believe that this structure best follows the model laid out for us in the New Testament, and allows for deeper, intimate discipleship for each group member...that they each become all that Christ intends for them to be. Discipleship is modeled, not just taught as each cell member begins to understand and minister in their spiritual gifts and callings. This also organizes and readies the church to be mobile, and to "go" and be the church in our homes and communities. For more on cell-church structure see www.touchusa.org.
