Christ came to us as a common man, an everyman. His teachings and examples were of common people doing uncommon deeds. God, the Father showed us his love for everyday people by his selection of messengers. He could have came to us as a Monarch, Politician, Captain of Industry or a Military Ruler, but instead he chose the role of a humble carpenter. Rather than wealth and priviledge, he chose honesty and hard work and by doing so, showed us the true virtue of a common existance. I am pleased to follow Jesus's example and I hope you will be also. It is said that money does'nt buy happiness and I would go so far as to say that some of the most miserable people in the world are wealthy. If you believe as I do, I would love to hear from you! If you are'nt familiar with Jesus and his teachings and would like to know more, please contact me! If you are home-bound, disabled or just lonely, I would love to hear from you! Jesus has a special place for you in his kingdom! Won't you let him show you what it is?
Each of us searches for peace, love and happiness. I believe that this is most easily attained by a true and personal relationship with our lord, Jesus Christ. Jesus taught that loving material or earthly possessions would only end in sorrow and bitterness. but the love of the spiritual gifts and the giving of oneself to charitable and selfless causes would lead to happiness. I would sum it up by saying that to truly find yourself, you must give yourself away! Are you ready to give yourself away? If you are then simply close your eyes and say this prayer: Jesus, I am a sinner, I have fallen short of your perfect will for my life and I am ready to change. I freely invite you to come into my heart and my life. I believe that you are the way, the truth and the light of the world and I will serve you the rest of my life...Amen. If you prayed this prayer and accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior,I would love to hear from you and welcome you into the family of God! That's all it takes to become a Christian! Congratulations on the best choice you ever made!!!
