The name of our church was changed from the Cuba Church of God to the Covenant Praise Church of God in early 1998. The reason for the change was to give the church a new identity. Praise and Worship play a very importent role in preparing the hearts for the message God has given the pastor for the hour. The meaning behind Covenant Praise is simple. ( covenant= committed, and praise= to glorify God). So together they stand for committed to praise.
