What is the Reformed Episcopal Church?
The Reformed Episcopal Church was founded in 1873 out of a concern to maintain an evangelical witness within the tradition of Anglicanism. The REC is a Biblical, Reformed, Evangelical and Liturgical expression of Christianity, committed to the Ancient traditions as expressed from the earliest days of the Anglican Church. We accept the Apostles' and Nicene Creeds and the Thirty-Nine Articles of Religion as our statements of faith.
New Covenant Schools
New Covenant Church is the sponsor of New Covenant Schools of Lynchburg and New Covenant Schools of Bedford. The Lynchburg schools, (the grammar school, the dialectic school, and the rhetoric school)were founded in 1991, and have students in grades K-12. The Bedford Schools, founded in 1995, serve students in grades K-9.
