OUR CHURCH FACILITY

PURPOSE STATEMENT

OUR PURPOSE is to bring honor to God by growing disciples of Jesus Christ
and aiding them in fulfilling His "Great Commission"

OUR STRATEGY to fulfill our purpose is accomplished by . . .
WINNING people to Jesus Christ as their Savior.
BUILDING them up as disciples of Christ.
EQUIPPING them to minister as servants of Christ.
MULTIPLYING by mobilizing them to win, build, and equip others to be
disciples of Christ.

OUR MISSION is to lead God's people to maturity and active participation in a
covenant community where they apply their gifts and abilities for the cause of Christ.

GRACE CHURCH

CORE VALUES

Above all else we value:

1. THE CENTRALITY OF GOD
We believe God to be the creator of all that exists over which He is the sovereign ruler.
God is the source of all eternal values and life. We believe that eternal life is found in the
person of Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity. We believe the Holy Spirit Who
draws us to Jesus for that life and leads and counsels us into a maturing relationship with
the Savior.

2. THE AUTHORITY OF THE BIBLE
The Bible is an indispensable value to mankind because in it we find the source of
Eternal Life and the way to live in harmony within God's expressed will. The Bible is
our "road map" for living. We find the Bible to be the sole and final authority for our
belief and behavior.

3. THE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY
We understand the Church to be a community of loving and caring individuals who are
drawn together in the common bond of Jesus Christ. Within this community is found
mutual love, acceptance and discipine as we live in an impersonal and fragmented world.

4. LIFE TRANSFORMATION
We expect the Holy Spirit to change people, no matter where they are in their spiritual
journey. We anticipate that lives will be transformed to the likeness of Jesus Christ as we
participate in the building up of one another in love.

5. GREAT COMMISSION MINISTRY
We are committed to the "Great Commission" of the Savior to "make disciples" of all
nations. This is done through local and extended ministry activities.

6. EVANGELISM AND DISCIPLESHIP
We recognize that ministry is a process and we must be a winning, equipping, building and
reproducing church. As people are evangelized, they are reached, as they are taught, they
are equipped, and upon being properly equipped, they reproduce by reaching and teaching
others who then in turn reproduce.
