Mission Statement
Saint James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church was founded to Glorify God by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, to encourage all people to a personal relationship with Him and membership in His family, to facilitate spiritual maturity and to equip everyone for ministry in the church, in the community and around the world. To develop a nurturing and encouraging body of believers who are able to reach out in the community of Chocowinity, North Carolina in ways that will enable us to share the gospel so that we can make disciples for the Lord Jesus Christ and worship Him together. God is the center of our Joy!
