If you have stopped going to Church or are discouraged where you are now, this letter is for you. The Catholic Apostolic Church of North America invites all people to come Celebrate the Holy Eucharist with us in true Catholic tradition. At the Saint Francis of Assisi Mission our slogan is "All Are Welcome" to come to the Table of The Lord, to eat the Bread of Life and drink from the Cup of Forgiveness and Salvation. It is with certainty that we acknowledge Jesus would never turn anyone away from his table and so it is time for his church on earth to gather those who feel pushed away, rejected or alienated because of life situations which are beyond their control. Together we, at the Mission of Saint Francis of Assisi are building Faith Communities and with the entire Catholic Apostolic Church in North America we are re-building the Kingdom of God on Earth. Jesus said to Saint Francis of Assisi, "Rebuild my Church". In these sad and controversial times when social issues are destroying certain denominations and others are closing Churches for economic gain, we at the Mission of Saint Francis and of the Catholic Apostolic Church in North America are building churches around the country. We are breaking down social barriers that mankind has created which serve only to separate the people from God and one another. If you feel deprived spiritually, if you long for a deeper spiritual life and relationship with God, if you can hear him calling you through the craziness of this world and you seek the peace in your life that only He can provide, Come to the Table of The Lord. Come to the Mission of Saint Francis of Assisi and worship with us, pray with us and find peace with us. We are a Mission and currently do not have our own building but by the Grace of God and the goodness of his people we do have a place to gather, to worship and to call our home. We are currently celebrating Mass, at Saint John Lutheran Church located on the corner of King and Ellsworth St. just off Lowell Street. Recitation of the Holy Rosary is Saturday at 3:30PM. Mass is celebrated Saturday afternoon at 4PM.
The Catholic Apostolic Church believes that we as Christians are all called to celebrate the Eucharist of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is this belief that is the determining factor in our position that states all who believe that Jesus is truly present to us in the Holy Eucharist are welcome to come to the table of the Lord and receive. A general absolution is given at the beginning of each MASS at the Penitential Rite. However if you would like to receive the sacrament of reconciliation privately prior to receiving communion please contact the parish priest. Please freely join our community in the celebration of the Eucharist!
