THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR

We believe in the main tenets of mainstream protestant Christianity. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and are Trinitarian in theology. We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ and His literal bodily resurrection. We believe in the virgin birth, in a literal heaven and hell, and that only through Jesus Christ can man be saved, through faith in His redemptive work at Calvary. We believe in the literal return of Jesus Christ.

We financially support the Christian Research Institute, are opposed to the Word Of Faith movement, and all manifestations that cannot be scripturally substantianted with sound exegesis. We believe the Holy Spirit is actively involved in the work of the church today and seek His presence in our services.

We believe in and teach sound biblical theology, and are a strong conservative based church. We take the Word of God seriously and literally, while "rightfully dividing it." We believe in biblical values, principles, and teach the unadulterated Word of God. We confront the issues of today head-on, maintain strong family values, and refuse to treat the divorced as second-class citizens. We preach against sin and call for repentance.

We have a three-fold purpose: to present Jesus Christ; to develop a place of worship and teaching that promotes spiritual growth and maturity; and to provide a place of refuge and recovery for those who have been hurt by spiriutal abuse and false teachings.

Our ministry of music offers traditional hymns, contemporary hymns, along with praise and worship choruses. We have established a small foundational base of members and have existed as a church for three and a half years. We have just leased a beautiful new facility, and find ourselves excited about what the Lord is doing.

We welcome you to visit and become a part of what God is doing at Neighborhood Christian Fellowship. We do not condone sin of any fashion and understand that God loves you, no matter what your plight in life. We are not a "tip-toe through the tulips" type of church and have no taste for liberalism within the church or outside of its walls. Sin is denounced and repentance is preached! Come through the door as you are, but expect to leave a little different! We welcome you to visit with us today, and experience what God is doing among this body of believers.

Neighborhood Christian Fellowship is financially supported solely by its members and does not solicit funds from outside its own ranks. For further information in regards to our fellowship, please direct your email request to the pastor.

About The Pastor

The pastor of our fellowship is a graduate of Southeastern College. He withdrew from the Pentecostal/Charismatic movements after being involved for ten years in these movements, due to unbiblical manifestations taking place within them. He was attending Jimmy Swaggart Bible College at the peak of that ministry and fall of its leader. He left that ministry due to leaderships failure to follow biblical mandates, with a determination to follow after the Lord rather than man.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Bible and minor in preaching the Good News. Jesus Christ performed a miraculous work in his life some twenty years ago. He has been actively involved in evangelistic and pastoral work throughout these years. He is an ordained minister of the gospel and desires to see people from all walks of life come to Jesus for a life changing experience.

Because of his experience as a prodigal son, he understands those who have been discriminated against by the elder brother. The pastor of Neighborhood Christian Fellowship believes that Jesus Christ is the answer, as opposed to religiosity and organized religion. He preaches a message of grace, mercy, love, forgiveness, and the judgment to come. He will weep with you in sorrow, pray with you in your need, and rejoice with you in your blessing. He follows the biblical principle of "having no respect of persons," for all are equal in the eyes of God. He believes there are two classes of people who make up this world: believers and unbelievers. He has been called to minister to all. His desire to lead believers into spiritual maturity and unbelievers into a saving relationship with Christ. He is forty-five years old and believes that God is not yet finished in America.

He has written his personal testimony in tract form, which is titled: "The Man From Heaven," a miraculous story of deliverance from drug and alcohol abuse, which nearly destroyed his life. If you would like to receive a free copy of this testimony, please email your address and it will be mailed to you.
