A Community Church First
Greenmont Church has strong roots in the community church movement and represents almost 50 years continuous service to the Kettering/Dayton community. The parrish prides itself on tolerance for differences in belief while upholding the two essential commandments: to love the lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself. This represents the covenant for membership at Greenmont. We have had many members formerly from other faiths, Jews, Catholics, and others as members of this loving community. All are welcome in this household of God.
Rock 'n the Spirit
This contemporary worship experience represents a new effort at Greenmont Church and expresses the joyful and meaningful response to God of several active church members. Using live rock and other musical idioms to help carry the gospel of love to all who would hear it, this ministry represents an outreach mission for our wider church community. Directed at the unchurched and under churched we present an accessible and fun way to get in touch with God within and find God's will for your life. We pray that many will find God through this ministry and follow the ways of the master.
