Faith Temple is a church in Whitney,Texas on the cutting edge of revival. We are a contemporary church in many ways, yet we are traditional in our beliefs. We are a multi-culture congregation and God is really doing some things in our services.
Our prayer is for a mighty move of the Spirit, so that this whole area we are in, will experience change and passion for the things of God.
Our pastor Dr. Barry Morris has a way of delivering messages that pertain to issues we face daily. He finds the word of God to be one of freshness and newness, and instills that into the service. Our church is known as "your church", for we are working hard to make church an enjoyable experience. So, just come as you are. Also, our church suffered water damage from heavy rains several months ago. The church took in over 18 inches of water. We are needing to replace the outside wood and also need to paint ,scrape, since our church is wood frame. Please pray about sending a donation to help us do the repairs. We were not able to get flood insurance because of our location. Since then, we have gotten it fixed to where the water runs away from the church. For more information, please feel free to call. Also inside of the church the pews were damaged as well as the carpet. Anyone wishing to donate materials will be appreciated also. If within a reasonable distance, we will come and pick them up. Thanks so much for your prayers and support.
When coming to Faith Temple church, you will blessed by upbeat contemporary praise and worship music. We believe that music with "LIFE", is a great way for one to get closer to God and it also helps to revive us and refresh us in the Holy Spirit. The worship team and leader are very sensitive to the moving of the Holy Spirit. It is our desire to get into the presence of the Lord and worship Him. The programs we have at Faith Temple are geared towards the whole family. We have programs from cradle to seniors. When in central Texas, come and visit us. We want everyone to know that there is JOY in serving Jesus!
