A Word from our Pastor

Our church is a ministry of The Salvation Army Yuba/Sutter Command. We are located in an agricultural area in the Central Valley of California. Our average weekly attendance on Sunday Mornings is approximately 75. We are in a temporary facility while our main building is undergoing renovation. Our current church location is located in an area of Marysville called Linda. We are located on the backside of the Sutter Buttes Mall.

Our worship style is fairly contemporary mixed with some traditional. We are a growing congregation with an average age of approximately 40 years old. Our Youth Pastor and his wife have a very active youth program. They work very hard and have continued building this program. We have programs for all ages of young people. Our Wednesday night programs are called Sunbeams (girls-ages 7-11), Girl Guards (girls-ages 12-17), and Adventure Corps (boys-ages 7-18). The young people earn badges for camping, railroading, etc. Many different activities are planned for them. We also have a Junior High group called C.I.C. This stands for Chemically Imbalanced Christians, thus the CIC. We are just starting our High School group. Our Worship Ministry is very active. Our Worship Band is called 9-1-1. They provide a tremendous ministry within our Church each week and are working on a CD release within this next year. We would welcome you to come and worship with us each week.
