Who We Are
Biblical: Seaside holds fast to the Old and New Testaments as the Word of God, the only inerrant rule of faith and practice as led by the Holy Spirit.
Evangelical: Seaside's purpose is to meet Jesus Christ individually as the personal Savior, to share Him with all people, to fellowship with others who believe, and to learn together from His Word.
Independent: Seaside's organization is free and independent since it's inception. The congregation holds ultimate power under God and elects a pastor and a board of ruling elders to lead and guide the church. Seaside is not affiliated with any other Presbyterian denomination.
Is Bigger Always Better?
If you are looking for a warm, friendly place to worship and study God's Word, Seaside is the place! It's small enough that you will be missed, but large enough to function well. Seaside has its own church campus, it is not located temporarily at a school or a business park, it's in the center of a nice neighborhood close to the beach. It's like church used to be...traditional! It's where everyone will know your name! And better than that...they will pray for you by name!
Seaside is also very Missions minded, supporting Athletes in Action, Jesus Film Project to Russia, Shield of Faith in Bolivia and a small church in El Florido, Tijuana, Mexico.
Seaside is a wonderful place for weddings, baptisms and christenings...it is beautifully appointed, in the Williamsburg tradition. Surrounding the church are lawns, patios, trees and flower gardens...the perfect setting for those special pictures!
