CHURCH HISTORY
Welcome to the New Christian Tabernacle Church of God
In
Christ. Since our inception in 1973, we have grown
tremendously. We began as a little storefront church
but
through the ministry and leading of our Pastor, we
now
reside in one of the most beautiful churches in the
Paterson area.
The Lord has given us great leaders in the person of
Pastors Arthur & Mildred Farrar. We are blessed to
have
leaders that truly exemplify "FAITH IN ACTION!"
FAITH IN ACTION
At the Tabernacle, every service is designed to
enhance and
edify spiritual growth. Our endeavor is to lift up
the
Lord and give Him the praise that is due unto Him.
You
will be richly blessed through words, songs, and
personal
involvement. Our motto is "YOU CAN GO TO HEAVEN FROM
HERE", and once you receive the Pentecostal
experience you
will be able to put your faith in action.
Transportation
is provided to all services.
PRAISE PLACE MINISTRIES
The Praise Place is designed to meet the needs of our
youth. This is a channel in which they can express
their
thoughts, ideas and goals. Through rap sessions,
field
trips, dramatic productions as well as various other
outlets, the youth are encouraged to become involved
in
their church and draw closer to the Lord.
FIA PRODUCTIONS
Faith In Action (FIA) Productions is a ministry
designed to
spread the gospel through the arts and events
management.
The acclaimed stage play "JUST A PRAYER AWAY" was
written
and directed by our own Arlene J. Lester. This show
tells
the classic tale of good and evil in our changing
society.
The show has been performed at the legendary Newark
Symphony Hall, Paterson Museum, and various other
venues.
The cast, featuring many of the Paterson areas best
singers
and actors, will have you laughing and crying as they
go
forth in dance and song. For inquiries about

FIA Productions also incorporates event management.
Whether it be a wedding, seminar, concert or
whatever... we
have the expertise and top notch staff to make your
event

MUSIC MINISTRY
The Tabernacle Choirs have been anointed by God to
minister
through song. Through weekly rehearsals, the choirs
study
and prepare to be of service to the church as well as
outside functions. We have a choirs for all ages.
- The "Youth for Christ Choir
- The award winning Tabernacle Mass Choir
- The Mens Choir (Special Occassions)
We are blessed to be under the leadership of one of
the
most reknowned organists in the tri-state area, in
the
person of our Minister of Music, Evangelist Donna
Warren.
Also, we have an award winning "Choir Master", Deacon
Arthur J. Farrar,III, who is the vocal trainer for
all
choirs. Come and rejoice in song with us!
UPCOMING EVENTS
All roads lead to the Taberacle for our 1st Annual Youth Fellowship weekend which will covene on July 28th through 30th.
We're excited to have Bishop Johnny Brice and the Miracle Temple Church of Detroit, Michigan as our special guest. Other invited guests include Pastor Della Williams, Brother Jason Moody, and gospel comedienne Evangelist Sis Terr. Musical guest include Mietta Stancil-Farrar and Tehillah, Couzins for Christ as well as the New Christian Tabernacle choirs. The weekend will conclude with a concert featuring the Garden State Choral Chapter of Hackensack along with the Miracle Temple Choir of Detroit.
