New Testament ARP Church is affiliated with First Presbytery of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. The Presbytery has congregations throughout North Carolina. The denomination is a conservative body and holds to the Westminster Standards. Additional information on the presbytery can be had by writing to P. O. Our Beliefs
We believe that God is the Creator and Sovereign Ruler of the universe. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Saviour and Lord of man. We believe the Holy Spirit is the enabler for the Christian life. We believe the Bble is the inerrant, inspired Word of God, the only rule of faith and practice. We believe Salvation is by God's grace, a free gift to believers and not earned by merit of man. We believe the Ten Commandments are the summation of man's duty to God and of man's responsibility to his fellow man. We encourage tithing and family worship. Our church government is by the Presbyterian system -- elders and deacons, elected in a democratic manner by each congregation. We administer the Sacrament of Baptism to believers and their children. Members are received into the church on profession of faith, re-affirmation of faith, and transfer of letter.
