Harvest Christian Fellowship Church is doctrinally and financially connected to the Church of God In Christ, the world's second largest pentecostal body. The COGIC was founded in 1897 by the late Bishop Charles H. Mason who pioneered what we know today as the American Pentecostal Movement. harvest is a constituent member of the Central Georgia Jurisdiction.

Harvest Christian Fellowship Church as founded in May 1995, by Frank E. Johnson, initially as a Bible Study. Joining him was his wife Bonnie and their three children (Justin Deitrich, Danielle Revee and Joshua McKinley ). In September 1995, we held our first Sunday worship with more than twenty-five persons attending. Over the past three years God has blessed our efforts. We now are purchasing a facility valued at $750,000 with seating for 550, 18 classrooms, a chapel, a fellowship hall, and a four-color printing press. Future plans include a before and After School Program, Intramural Sports, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and a variety of Fine Arts and other cultural activities. Harvest is unique as it blends a traditional pentecostal flavor with a new and emerging style of contemporary worship. It is a church established firmly in theWord of God where powerful and supernatural demonstrations of the Holy Spirit is visibly evident. Pastor Johnson, an exciting, excellent teacher and preacher who offers practical biblical teaching which resulting in the powerful transformation of lives. We also offer a vibrant Youth and Children's Ministry, Single Parents support group, Women's Ministry, Men's Fellowship, Food Bank and Clothing Closet, Singles Ministry, and Christian Counseling.
