Clarkstown Reformed Church

Our History and Tradition

We are a 250 year old church with a twenty first century mission.

The earliest church in America was established in the year 1628, making our denomination, the Reformed Church of America, the oldest continuing religious body in Americas history.

Clarkstown Reformed Church was formerly established in the year 1750, known as the First Protestant Reformed Church of New Hempstead.

We are a friendly congregation where you and your family can grow in faith, make friends, establish roots and meet the future.

We seek to reach out and serve others in Christ's name; we are a learning congregation dedicated to the Great truths of the Bible and to living out what God is saying to us today.

The abilities and gifts, which God has given to each of us, are what enables our church to learn, to grow and to meet the needs of others.

We are called... to worship God; to be witnesses of the Good News of God within our families, community and nation; to love one another,to bear one another's burdens; to pray for each other; to be good stewarts, sharing materially and spiritually with those who are in need.

We worship every Sunday; have an Adult Bible Study,Adult Fellowship,Adult Choir, Handbell Choir, Live Nativity Outreach, Vacation Bible School, Sunday School Quilters and Crafts Group and Youth Group

All in all, we call ourselves greatly blessed.
