Here at the Tower of Deliverance Church, we seek to usher in Pentecost each time we assemble. We have been a part of the Richmond, VA community for more than 23 years. We have been trailblazers in television and radio ministry; drug outreach; AIDS outreach; community involvement; as well as many other Christ centered outreach ministries. Our first family - Supt. James L. Moore, Sr., D.D.; Pastor Ruth I.G. Moore, D.D.; Evangelist LaVirsa Moore and Pastor James L. Moore, II have reached out to numerous families and communities since first being sent to Richmond, VA. They have displayed a genuine love, compassion, and concern which has garnered them a reputation for the hospitality they show. Additionally, due to the ministerial teachings of Supt. James L. Moore, Sr., D.D., the Tower of Deliverance church has garnered a reputation for training ministers. Therefore, the Tower of Deliverance Church has come to be known as the "Institutional Church".
