Romans 5:8
In this month, the beginning of a New Year and a New Century, the Lord, through His Word has taken us back to the beginning. In order to fully understand why we are where we are and how to get where we are going it was important for us to go back to the book of beginnings, the book of first mentions. In our endeavor to understand why we are where we are and how to get where we need to go, we have seen that because we are created in the image and after the likeness of God we have to nature and character of God (Gen. 1:27, 28). Therefore there are certain things we don't have to pray for we can just pull from them. To be have His image and His likeness is to have His character and nature, therefore we are complete in Him (Col. 2:10). We learned that God has already blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly place (Eph. 1:15-18), but it is up to us to cause what God has done in heaven to manifest here on earth. Therefore we must walk in patience and do the will of God, so that we can see the promises come to past (Gen. 2:15-25; Deut. 28:1,2). We learned that if we come to God with our sins and issues of life we will be forgiven and cleansed, but if we try to hide them then we will be separated from the promises and blessings of God (Gen. 3:9-13; I John 1:5-10). We also learned that in this life we will be tested, tried, but we don't have to be tripped up or trapped up, because through His Word God has made a way of escape from every temptation (Gen. 3:1-6; I Cor. 10:13).
We want to end this month and go into the rest of this year with this one thought… "God will show up, even when we are messed up!!!" From the very beginning the devil knew how much the Lord loved man-kind, and that He desired an intimate relationship with His creation, so the devil came up with a plan to separate God from His beloved creation. The devil took what God loved and caused them to partake in that which God hated. See God loves the sinner, but hates the sin, so it seemed as if God was placed in a dilemma with only one option…destroy that which He loved so dearly. But, if He destroyed what He hated (sin in man) He would destroy the one He loved (man), and if He saved that which He loved (man) He would save that which He hated (sin in man). Praise God that even before the sin of man God had a plan to redeem him back unto Him, for before the foundations of the world the Lamb of God was slain to restore mankind back to right standings with God.
The Bible declares that while we were yet sinners, God showed His love for us, in that Christ died for us!!! So, even when we are messed up, broke up and when we give up God will show up, and He does not just show up just to be showing up, but He shows up to help up, clean up, and fix us up!!!

So with Jesus Christ being the same yesterday, today and forever, we can see that when the voice of the Lord beginning to walk in the coolness of the day, He was showing up to bring about a change in Adam and Eve's life. He was showing up to fix what they had messed up and clean up that which through sin had been made dirty. The same is true in the story of the death of Lazarus, Jesus should up when He did, to help them overcome doubt, free them from disbelief, and change their lives forever by raising Lazarus from the dead. Your situation may have the appearance of being dead and without hope, but I say unto to you that if you have faith and doubt not God will raise your Lazarus from the dead. I know it to be true that God will show , even when we are messed up, broke up, or when we give up, and He will show up!!!
