About Emmanuel Church
Emmanuel is an exerberant church of 750 baptized members, with an average Sunday attendence of 325 at three services. We live out our faith seriously, yet joyfully. We have a healthy mixture of all ages, with a strong Sunday School and Youth Ministry. Our music blends contemporary songs of praise with traditional hymns. We are strongly supportive of people in recovery from chemical addictions, broken marriages, and rigid fundamentalist churches. Emmanuel's pre-school provides an excellent program for 2 through 5 year olds, every weekday morning.
Programs offered at Emmanuel
Education: Godly Play (Sunday mornings - Primary School ages); Journey to Adulthood (Sunday mornings - Jr. & Sr. High); Adult Forum, Synthesis Bible Study, and Parenting Class (Sunday mornings - offerings for adults). Youth Ministry: Jr. EYC and Sr. EYC (Sunday evenings, 5 pm) Music: Senior Choir, Madrigals, Handbell choirs for Youth and Adults; Teen choir, Cherub Choir. Small groups: D.O.C.C. (Disciples of Christ in Community); Cursillo (Fourth day); Supper clubs; Wednesday am Bible Study; EFM; Liturgical Clowns.
