Willing Heart Community Church (WHCC), 3110 W Street, SE., Washington, DC was found and organized under the leadership of Pastor Thomas Pair, in May 1980. We are a nondenominational church committed to the mission of Jesus Christ; and dedicated to reaching our communities with the Gospel. We are members of the National Association Council of Community Churches of America and Elsewhere, Incorporated . In August 2005, Dr. Thomas Pair retired as the pastor and appointed Elder Jo Ann Spruell to carry out the mission of saving and bring souls to Christ. On October 22, 2005, Elder Jo Ann Spruell was installed as the Pastor of Willing Heart by the National Association Council of Community Churches of America and Elsewhere under the leadership of Rev. Dr. James Rogers, National President.

Our Church Theme is found in the Book of Psalm "Let Jesus Lead You".

On behalf of the Pastor, ministers, officers, and members of Willing Heart Community Church, we welcome you to our on-line service, the joy of our hearts is full and overflowing since you have chosen to view our web page. It is good to have friends worship and share with us in the Lord's service. Again, we welcome you in body and in spirit and its is our hearts dearest wish that you receive a blessing this day.

Thank you for visiting us! We invite you to visit in person when you are in the Washington Metropolitan Area. We are a friendly and caring church family. Active ministries in our congregation include Church School for all ages, a growing and active youth program, senior, gospel, men and youth choirs, a Women's Christian Service Council (WCSC); Praise through Dance Ministry, and weekly Bible studies. Willing Heart has been a member of the "Share Program" for over 5 years. If you are interested in participating or would like to receive a "Share" package, please contact the church at (202) 584-1908. The monthly cost for this progran is $16.00.

August 14th thru 20th, 2006 - 55th National Convention in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The host church is God's People Christian Community Church, Capitol Heights, Maryland.
