Thank you for taking the time to look in on us and see what we are about. Porter Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church apart of the 8th Epsicopal District, Southeast Texas Region of the CME Church. We are located just East of scenic downtown San Antonio, about 5 blocks East of the Alamo Dome (near the intersection of Pine & Iowa Streets). We are excited about reaching those who are seeking to know the joy, peace and unconditional love of Jesus Christ... We welcome you in the Spirit of Christ unconditionally to come and share in a worship experience or fellowship activity with us--soon. We strive daily to be faithful to our calling of service to all ... those who seek and those who know the LOVE of Christ Jesus. Porter is a church where you can expreience the Love of Christ Jesus JUST AS YOU ARE...

Ministries and Upcoming events:
Sunday, October 21th, 2007- 3:30PM 89th CHURCH ANNIVERSARY SERVICE- Rev. C. Victor Herbin, pastor Mt Calvary Baptist Church, San Antonio will be the speaker for this service. We ask for your support of this celebration by your presence. If this is not possible, you may support this ministry event by placeing an ad in our souvenir booklet. Suggested donations for ads are: Page 100.00; 1/2 pg 50.; 1/4 pg 25. Please, Mail or e-mail ad text to the church address by Oct 13th 2007. Make checks payable to Porter Memorial CME Church. Thank you for your generous support. Funds donated will support our local and connectional ministies. Please contact us for more Anniversary events information.
***We pray that if you find yourself in our city or have a family member completing Training at either Ft. Sam Houston, or Lackland AFB, or have a servicemember at one of the military medical centers here and would like the pastor to visit them please contact us with the details of your request. We welcome the opportunity to serve you or, a family member or friend. You may be visiting San Antonio for business or pleasure you are invited to come and fellowship with us while here.
