Church History
The Warwick Baptist Church was established in 1861 near the Warwick Swamp in Chowan County , North Carolina to minister to the northern portion of Chowan County and the southern portion of Gates County. The church has been instrumental in establishing new congregations throughout the Gates and Chowan County area. They have historically had a vision for missions and continue to support missions through giving and involvement through participation.
About Our Pastor
Our pastor is a product of Chowan College and Campbell University with continuing education through Seminary extension courses. He is an expository preacher who preaches and teaches the Bible in it's entirity. He believes the Bible to be the guide and stay of the Christian Faith and believes that the Bible gives us application for daily living and the hope for eternity. He believes and practices that the local church has autonomy and that each member has a voice and a vote in congregational rule. He leads the congregation through equipping the church family to be the ministers within the church and to the world.
