Holy Spirit Catholic Faith Community is the founding parish of the Transformational Catholic Church. The Transformational Catholic Church, and Holy Spirit, is founded on one theological/dogmatic position: The Greatest Commandments - That we shall love God & we shall love our neighbor as ourselves. The Transformational Catholic Church, and Holy Spirit, are scramentally centered within the Catholic tradition. The orders of their priests are valid with clear lines of Apostolic Succession and through a validly consecrated bishop, The Most Rev. Dr. Mark Shirilau, the Primate of the Ecumenical Catholic Church. The Transformational Catholic Church, and Holy Spirit, believe that God speaks through the various Catholic Churches(i.e Anglo Catholic, Orthodox Catholic, Old Catholic, etc.) and therefore the faithful are encouraged to read the writings of the theologians, scripture scholars, and Bishops of the inclusive Catholic Family. Individuals may also incorporate into their spiritual practices any practice found within the Catholic Traditions as individual parishes are to focus on celebrating the Sacraments and are prohibited from taking theological positions regarding specific issues of faith. Encountering God through the Sacraments is the central faith experience of the Transformational Catholic Church and Holy Spirit.
Saturday Evening Mass is held once a month in the rented space of the MCCQC of the Quad Cities(2930 West Locust Street, Davenport, Iowa). The MCCQC faith community has been kind enough to welcome our small faith community into their home. We are thankful for their hospitality. We hope that you will consider joining us for the celebration of the Mass some Saturday evening! Please call if you have questions regarding our ministry. Most Rev. Dr. Bruce D. LeBlanc
