Corps Program

Corps Cadet - A young Salvationist who involves himself/herself with other young people in the Corps, in a course of Bible study and leadership training to become more effective and efficient Salvationists. The age range is from 12 to 21 years of age.

The Present Corps Cadet Counselor is Mrs. Brenda Brett

Junior Soldier - A young Salvationists from the age of 7-17 years, who have accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. They believe that God wants them to worship and serve Him in the Salvation Army.

Home League - A ministry of women meeting the needs of community. The present Home League Leaders are Captain Bonnie Hopkins & Mrs. Brenda Hillier.

Men's Fellowship - A ministry of men meeting the needs of community. The present leaders are, Wilfred Harnett (president); Gary Pope (vice-president); Fred Hale (secretary); Mark Snow (treasurer); Rex Mercern (special events director) and Captain Terry Hopkins (chaplain).

Youth Group - A youth oriented ministry focused on meeting needs of teens and young adults. The goal is to reach youth for Christ and disciple them into Christian maturity. The present leaders are, Mr. Mark Snow, and Mr. Garry Mills.

Sunday School Program - The best time to reach people for Christ is at an early age. This program includes the Nursery, Primary, Junior and Teens. This is a marvelous program of teaching God's Word, the Biblew and how it is applicable to everyday living. The present Young People's Sergeant Major is Mrs. Eileen Sparkes

Brass Band - Musical focus of the Salvation Army. The present Band Master is Mrs. Madge Jennings.

The Salvation Army is a Holiness movement. Therefore, the AM Sunday service is focused towards holiness preaching and teaching or normally called, the Holiness Meeting. Salvation of the lost is also a focus of the movement. Therefore, the PM Sunday service is known as a Salvation Meeting. The present Corps Officers are, Captains Terry & Bonnie Hopkins.
