New Park Vision and Goals

In my 25 years of experience ministering in the U.S.,South America, and Europe, I am
more convinced than ever of the need for more effective ways to meet needs and
communicate our message to both the religious and the non-religious in our communities.
I have a vision for a worship/ministry center that will offer direction and support in all
of the areas that cause concern in modern life. At New Park, you will find answers
for this complicated high-tech age with the rampant problems of drug and alcohol abuse.
Better still we intend to head them off at the pass.

Our first worship service was held November 2, 1997, at the Northgate High/Middle School at
3220 Fischer Road in Newnan,GA, near the Canongate community. This is a temporary home for us;
New Park Worship Center has over 50 acres already paid for adjoining the new site of the Middle School at Madras, which
will be the future home of the ministry. One of my short term goals is to break ground in 1998
and build a 500 capacity ministry center on that site to seriously address the needs of children,
teenagers, and their families.

Our Long Range Goals include:

• 2,500-seat worship center with Sunday School facilities
• Children's camp
• Gym/fitness complex
• Multimedia/computer center
• Operation Blessing Center for treatment of alcohol and drug abuse
• Cluster homes for elderly couples or widows/widowers
• Support/Ministry Center for Single Parents
• Support/Ministry for the Divorced
• Hospice with 14 Rooms

Directions to New Park Worship Center at Northgate High/Middle School:

(Coming North on I-85): Take I-85 North to Exit 10, Chase Road. Take a right onto Chase. Go Left on Raymond Hill Road, Left on Shaw Road, and then immediate left on Fischer Road. Northgate High/Middle School will be on your left.

(Coming South on I-85): Take I-85 South to Exit 11, Collinsworth Road. Take a left onto Collinsworth. Immediate right onto Canongate Road, which turns into Fischer road at the first stop sign. Northgate High/Middle School will be on your right.

The Bible is the Word of God without error and is the only rule of faith and church government

All men are lost and in need of salvation. It is the will of God that all come to a saving knowledge of His grace

The opportunity to receive this salvation has been provided through the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross

The church is not a building, but the entire body composed of all who are saved by receiving Jesus as personal savior

The giving and receiving of the Holy Spirit makes it possible for all who are saved to be filled with the Holy Spirit which is the will of God for His people

Healing is provided in the finished work of Christ and it is the will of God that we who are saved pray that the sick be healed

The Lord Jesus left only two ordinances for his Church, water baptism by immersion and the Lord's suppoer

There will be a personal, imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ
