Vision Statement
It is the vision of the St. John Missionary Baptist Church to be used by God to build an ever-growing, Bible-based ministry; to be exciting in worship, loving in fellowship, evangelistic in focus, scriptural in teaching, and bold in preaching. We will strive to be precise in our administration, family-friendly in our structure, prayerful in our planning, and govened by the Word of God. We intend to impact the city of Dallas, our region, our nation, and the world for the Cause of Christ.
History
We are a church established in 1876. We have been a leader in the Christian community of Dallas and we continue to focus our ministry on the needs of the people; from teens at risk (project 75216), prison ministry, church based credit union, The Bethlehem Foundation,inc.Brotherhood (A.A.Braswell Retreats),AARP, womens mission,Theater Ministry and childrens fellowship. "A Family of God, a Faith in Jesus, and a Fellowship of the Spirit"
