Our church is located in the desert Southwest of Texas on I-20. Founded in 1930, First Christian Church has always been composed of people of various religious traditions. From Roman Catholic to Pentecostal and everything in between, we are a multiracial family of followers of Jesus Christ who strive to live according to his teachings. As a part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) we celebrate the Lord's Supper each Sunday. We practice open communion and invite all Christians to partake. We are a congregationally governed church seeking to make a difference in the lives of those who stand outside of the community of faith. Casual dress is always acceptable.
