We strive to provide our congregation with a place of worship in the finest Christian tradition. We do not believe that true Christianity can be measured by a particular style of worship or by means of a prescribed rule of order. Our people are therefore encouraged to worship God in the manner best suited to their individual needs and inclinations. Uplifted hands, audible expressions of praise and thanksgiving, or silent worship and adoration are equally acceptable forms of worship at Aldersgate.
We believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ not only requires us to openly confess our faith, but to also demonstrate that faith through sevice and concern for others. We believe also in the gifts and fruits of the Spirit and commit ourselves to using those gifts for the betterment of the whole Body of Christ and not just for our personal gain and gratification. We believe that "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever."Most of all, at Aldersgate, you will find a congregation free from stifling creeds and dogmas that so often serve to fulfill the "letter of the law, but quench the spirit thereof." At Aldersgate we strive to maintain a family atmosphere. At the present time (8-29-97) we are averaging 25 in Church School and 50 in Worship Service. And finally, last but most important by far, that Jesus Christ is "King of kings, and Lord of lords and is therefore worthy of all praise. God bless and come visit. Our motto is "You are a visitor only once, from then on you are a part of the family
