Statement of Faith

This church contents & accepts the Holy Scriptures as the revealed
will of God, the all sufficient rule for faith & bahavior; and for
the purpose of maintaining unity; adopts these statements of
fundamental truths & doctrines.

*We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible and
authoritative word of God. (2 Tim 3:15-17, Hosea 6:6)

*We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three
persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
(Gal 3:20, John 1:1, Col 2:19)

*We believe in the diety of our Lord, Jesus Christ. (Heb 1:3, Tit 2:13)

*We believe that man, by his own free will, is guilty of breaking God's
holy law & thereby condemned, and his only hope for salvation
is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. (Eph 5:5-6, Rom 5:1-2)

*We believe in a literal heaven and hell, the saved & righteous to
enter heaven, and the lost and damned in hell. (Ps 115:15, Is 37:16)

*We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit, who is called the
Paraclete by Jesus: the One called along side every believer to
teach, to convict of sin, to strengthen and to reveal spiritual
truths for the growth of every believer. (John 16, Rom 15:16, I Pet 1:2

*We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the empowerment
of this experience, as well as the spiritual gifts endowed upon the
believers, is vital for the church in the world today. (John 7:38-39,
Heb 2:3-4, Rom 15:16-19, Gal 3:2-5).

*We believe the church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God,
through the spirit with devine callings for the fulfillment of her
great commission. (Eph 1:22-23, Eph 2:19-22, Eph 3:10-11, Eph 4:11-16).

*We believe the ordinance of baptism by the immersion in water.
(Matt 28:19, Rom 6:3-5, Col 2:13).

*We believe the ordinance of the Lord's Supper shall be observed
regularly as enjoined by the scriptures. (Lk 22:19-10, I Cor 11:23-26).
