Is to share God's Love But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8 WORSHIP - to experience an awareness of God's presence, His holiness, and power, and to respond in loving obedience. WITNESS - to tell others about what God has done for us in Jesus Christ. First Baptist Church of Payson, Ut. is working to share God's love in our homes, our community, our nation and throughout the world. (Acts 1:8) DISCIPLESHIP - to help each other grow more mature in the faith so that we can live effectively for Christ in our world. (Ephesians 4:11-13) MINISTRY - to encourage, comfort, and pray for each other and have a healing involvement in our world. Baptist Believe The Scriptures
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired andd is the record of God's revelation of Himself to man. It is a perfect treasure of divine instruction. It has Gog for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter. It reveals the principles by which God judges us; and therefore is, and will remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christain union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions should be tried. The criterion by which the Bible is to be interpreted is Jesus Christ.
