Where We've Been (History)
Providence Wesleyan Church was started in 1878. It can't be said that we are a recent church plant! We have been around for a while. And yet, in many ways there is a new wind blowing in our fellowship! God is preparing us for exciting days ahead! We are seeing Him work in many ways. Our men are coming together more than ever and are looking for ways to minister to each other and the community. The women are more committed to prayer than at any other time in the recent past. It is an exciting time!
The Days Ahead
While our tomorrows are in God's hands, we do see Him giving us new direction. We feel that God is refocusing our sights on evangelism by showing us our own need for personal integrety. We can not be a witness to others until we are sure of our standing before Him. What a wonder it is to see Him work!
