Congregational Church of Silver Lake

This small town church with a big heart is located in the community
of Silver Lake, MN, and is fondly known as "The Church by the Water Tower."

Made up of people from a variety of denominational backgrounds the church is
committed to the word of God and enjoys a congregational form of government.

Members and friends of the congregation particpate in such outreaches as:
Testimonials on the "First Light" Radio Program, Bible Distributions,
Fairbooth at the Mcleod County Fair, Vacation Bible School, City Parade,etc.

Some of the unique services or programs the church offers throughout the year include:
Sea Side Service(In which the pastor preaches from a boat) Persecuted Believers Service,
Informal Bereavement Support Group, Dial-A-Bible Story for children (320)327-2843,
Art & Wildlife Night(A featured Wildlife Artist & samplings of wild game),Evening for Anglers
of All Ages, Traditional Christmas Eve and Morning Services, etc.
Morning worship normally contains a mixture of traditional hymns and modern choruses,
a time of testimony by various members of the congregation, and preaching from the word of God.
