It's Simple To Be Saved - Are You Sure Heaven Is Your Home?

Salvation is simple, but it's not cheap. It cost Jesus Christ everything so that salvation could be offered to us freely. God has provided salvation on a basis which permits anyone who can make an intelligent decision to have it. If salvation could be received on the basis of education, multitudes would be excluded. If eternal life could be had on the basis of wealth, a great number would still be left out. If being saved were dependent upon one's moral perfection, everyone would fall short. God has made His salvation available on the basis of a personal faith which even a child can exercise. This way, everyone is reduced to the same level in the eyes of God, and all must come to Him on the same terms (Romans 3:9, 10; Galations 3:22). Paul said, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9)
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"
(Romans 10:9-13) This message is to inform us how we may be able to have a personal relationship with God, eternal life in heaven, your sins forgiven, and your guilt taken away. The first thing we must realize is that no one measures up to God's perfect standard of holiness. Rom. 3:23 says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." None of us deserves to go to heaven. Rom. 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death." This death includes an eternal death in the lake of fire. All hope is not gone. The punishment that we deserved Christ took upon Himself. Rom. 5:8 says, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Since our transgression was against Him, He has the right to forgive us. Because of His holiness, there can be no forgiveness of sin without the shedding of blood. So Christ shed His blood in our place, the just for the unjust. Since Christ paid the price for our sin, how is this forgiveness applied to our lives? Rom. 10:9-10 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Eph. 2:8-9 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." This forgiveness is applied to our lives when we place our faith and trust in Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. You can place your faith and trust in Christ right now through prayer in your own words. Merely confess to God that you are a sinner, ask Him to forgive you and give you eternal life.

How Simple Is It To Be Saved?

1. It is as simple as entering a door. "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved," (John 10:0a)

2. It is as simple as calling for help. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)

3. It is as simple as coming when called. "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

4. It is as simple as receiving a gift. "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

5. It is as simple as drinking water. "But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in the well of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:14)

6. It is as simple as eating bread. "I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world." (John 6:51)

7. It is as simple as believing God. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life." (John 6:47)

Many people stumble at the simplicity of salvation. They often feel that they must do something to earn or deserve such a wonderful offer. Yes, something had to be done so that salvation could be offered to us freely, but Jesus did it all! All that God asks of us is that we believe that Jesus died for our sins and that God raised Him from the dead, then simply receive Him into our heart and life by faith. The genuineness and the reality of your faith will be demonstrated in a changed life.
Why not make that all-important decision which will transform your life and bring you into a right relationship with God? It is simple and it works! Try it and see.
It's Simply Up To You!
Are you willing to settle the matter of your eternal destiny? Will you do it? You can, right this moment. God grant that you will. If you are serious about knowing where you will spend eternity, please pray and ask Jesus to save you. Your prayer should go something like this:

"Dear Jesus, I now believe that you came down from heaven to die on the cross for MY sins and that you arose from the dead and are the only way to heaven. I know that I am a sinner and I am sorry and ask you to please forgive me of my sins and save me right now.
Thank you Lord Jesus, for your wonderful gift of eternal life and I accept that gift and I now trust you as my Saviour who will take me to Heaven when I die. In Jesus name I pray, Amen."

If you just prayed that prayer and really meant what you said with all your heart, then YOU ARE SAVED! Praise the Lord! God Bless you in your NEW Christian Life! We would really like to hear from you and add you to our Prayer List. We also have some written material to help you in your new life as a saved child of God if you will simply request it. The Greatness of Being Born Again

"The Spirit Himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God; And if children, then heirs-heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ-if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together." Romans 8:16-17
My friend, have you been born-again by the Spirit of God? If you have then you are a new being much different than you were before. The reason is that you were adopted into the family of God through the blood shed of Jesus Christ. You are now a wonderful child of God. Did you know that?
One of the most important things one must realize after being adopted into the family of God is that you are a new creature. You no longer are bound to the old ways of the flesh and the Devil. You no longer have to go through life without any direction or purpose because all has been given to you. There is nothing more empowering to the life of a Believer than that fact. We don't need some sort of miracle to strengthen our faith because we are the miracles.
When one realizes who's he is it is simple to have a good outlook in life. In so many Christian's minds there is some idea that we must work and dredge on in life to be pleasing to God, but that could not be any further from the truth. Jesus said "I came to give life and life more abundantly." The abundant life is not a drudgery it is a pleasure. The abundant life is one looked forward to. It is a daily fulfillment of God's promises in our life. It is a daily obedience that comes naturally as an outgrowth of our faith in Him.
Because you are a child of God you behave in a holy manner. Because you are adopted you live a life separate from the world. Because you have the mind of Christ you have victory on a daily basis. You were fearfully and wonderfully made in God's image. Now because you are a child of God take courage and fear not you can and will live a Godly life in Jesus Christ our Lord!!! May God daily strengthen you and keep your focus upon Him.
From My Heart To Yours,
Brother Rick Davis
