Worship Broadcast
Our Sunday Morning Worship Service has been broadcast since 1956 on Radio Station WRVK, Renfro Valley, Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. It is one of the oldest continuing church worship broadcasts in the Southern Baptist Convention. Audio cassette tapes of these broadcasts are available, without charge, by contacting the church office.
Mission Statement
First Baptist Church is "Dedicated to Spreading the Gospel Through Love, Prayer, and Service." In keeping with our mission statement a Food and Clothing Mission, located on Church Street, adjacent to the Rockcastle County Court House, is open Monday and Wednesday 9:00 a.m until 2:00 p.m. Volunteers from our church staff this ministry that reaches out to many families in our community.
Our church has a newly constructed 14,200 foot educational facility adjacent to our current building. It houses a fellowship hall, nursery, kitchen, and classrooms. We are blessed and very thankful for this beautiful facility.
When traveling on Interstate 75, take exit 59 or 62 and proceed to West Main Street and Craig Street. You are invited to hear our pastor, Bro. Eddie Nation, at 10:45 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. each Sunday.
